Unless you were paying close attention, you might have missed this recent story: “LONDON (AP) – Florence Green never saw the front line. Her war was spent serving food, not dodging bullets” reads a recent story in USA Today (click here to see the original story). “But Green, who has died aged 110, was the last known surviving veteran of World War I.
